A day at the farm

Baylee loved being a helper on the farm. She thought it was fun to feed the cows, she would throw the hay on their heads. She got a little scared when they would come close to her but eventually she was brave enough to help feed it some grain. We couldn't get her to use her hand to feed the grain but I thought she was pretty brave just to stand there.

Baylee got to help gather the eggs. She did a good job and only broke one egg even though she would throw them in the basket.
Danielle being a cowgirl on her sheep was fun to watch. Dixie didn't like it too much!

Baylee was a little nervous at first to pet the sheep but she then got into it and loved touching them.

All in all the trip to see Tyce and Danielle was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the farm and also seeing Malachi be baptized. It was a little hard with Baylee at bed time but come to find out alot of that had to do with her having Croup. We ended up going to see a doctor on Sunday morning before heading home. This is Baylee's second trip to Utah in the past 18 months and both times she has gotten sick, we are starting to think she is allergic to Utah. JK. We love going down and visiting. Thanks Jensen family for such a great weekend!

An tramatic day

So today Baylee and I were just hanging out by ourselves and decided to invite our friends Lexi and Tiffany over for some play time. Boy did it turn out interesting. Baylee and Lexi wanted to get blankets for their babies so they headed on back to Baylee's room. Out comes Baylee asking for a helper so I head back to see what is going on to find Lexi locked away in Baylee's room screaming like crazy. Tiffany and I tried everything we could think of to get the door open but could not find a way. The whole time Lexi is just a crying. We called my home teacher Mark Hirshi to come and help and while waiting for him to get here Lexi got really quite. We were not sure if she feel asleep or if she hit her head on something. Baylee was trying so hard to be a helper and get Lexi out. After about 20 mins we got the door unlocked and this is how we found Lexi sound asleep

tent time

My friend gave me this tent contraption for Baylee and it takes up the whole house but it has made alot of fun times. Baylee loves to run from daddy in it. Jon and Baylee are so fun to watch as they play together. Baylee runs/crawls away from Jon just a giggling and then when she has gotten away she runs back to him saying "again, again". It makes me laugh just to watch them together. This tent has saved me on many days when I have not been able to unglue baylee's eyes from the TV. As soon as I pull out the tent she is playing around like crazy. One of the down sides is that we can't figure out how to fold it back down so it will fit in the carrying case. Oh well it folds flat and fits behind things in the closet.

cloth diapers

I went to a class last night on the benefits of cloth diapering and now I feel totally motivated to do it. It seems so easy, and it will save us a ton of money. The diapers are so cute that it will be fun to buy them and put them on the baby. I know it will take some work but it did not sound as hard as a lot of people think it will be. My friends has used cloth diapers on both of her sons and she says she would not go back to disposables. I talk to some guys who use cloth diapers and they love them. I hope we get this baby! I can't wait to try out the cloth diapers to see what I think. If they can save us the amount of money that I think it will then maybe Jon and I will be able to go to Hawaii soon. That is one of the things Jon and I are saving our money up for. I would love to have the money to go by our 10 yr anniversary but that is next year so I don't think it will happen.

Dancing time with Baylee

Now that I am a stay at home mom, Baylee and I get to have dancing time. She loves music and loves to twirl along with it. Both Grandma's have given her nursery rhyme Cd's for her birthday and Christmas so we spend a lot of time dancing to them.

fall yard work

As alot of people know I don't like to get my hands dirty with yard work, so I sent Baylee out to help dad with the leaves. She had a blast being his big helper.

It isn't all work though. When it came time to play I was all for that. Baylee loved when I would throw the leaves in the air over her head. She was such a great big help getting all of the leaves put into bags.
