The Everything Dance

We have borrowed the video Zoe's Dance Moves from the Library about 10 times because Baylee loves it. She will watch it over and over. She now has gotten to the point where she will say all of the lines before the actors say them. She is very cute when she does the dance as well. I have been trying to catch her doing the dance for awhile but as soon as she sees the camera she either gets shy or wants to play with the camera. I was finally able to get her doing it. She is so funny because she has to go put on some of her church shoes for her dance shoes. I have been looking around for a dance class to put her in because she loves to dance so much. Most of them don't start kids until they are 3 so we have a few months to find one we like.

One of the many great things about having a little girl is that I have so much stuff to pass down to her. My mom had my Grandpa make a little kitchen for me when I was little and I have been able to give this to Baylee. I love watching her play with it and have as much fun as I remember having. There are so many other things such as a baby doll highchair, baby doll cradle, rocking chair and many baby dolls that I watch her play with that I had loved so much.

Christmas in July

Baylee found her Frosty the Snowman video that we have had hidden since Christmas and has only wanted to watch it a million times. She loves to sing and dance to it. She comes over and grabs my hand and says "Dance with me". I thought it was so cute I just had to share it.

Cookie Time!

For about a month straight every time we went to the store Baylee would ask me to buy some star sprinkles for her. I finally gave in and got them and then figured I need to do something with them so I looked up a recipe for Sugar Cookies on line. I have made sugar cookies before and they never turn out for me. I went into this thinking it was going to be a mess and not look cute and I would just end up getting frustrated with Baylee. That is not what happened. Baylee must be getting to the age that doing these kinds of things is fun instead of a pain. She was such a good girl and helped me every step of the way. She loved putting her stars on the cookies!! I think they turned out cute and perfect for the 4th of July.

Wii Time

Having fun with the Wii. Baylee's first time trying to bowl. She loved playing even if it was Daddy actually doing it. The video is all the excitement that we had when Claire, Grace, Aidan, and Baylee were playing. Boy they had a blast doing it.

Day with the girls!!!

I found a recipe for some homemade puffy paint on line and thought since I have these girls to entertain I would try it out. They loved them. It was lots of fun to let them paint away and then see the excitement when they saw that it had puffed up.
The Mess of the girls. This was all done in one hour. I am going to have to work hard later to get this place back to what it was. But it was all done in fun. We also had a combined bath with the magic pills that turn into sponge dinosaurs. This has all been done before lunch. We will see what happens after uncle Jon comes home and we break out the wii!!!

just an update

Well I just wanted to update every one on what has been going on in our lives. I feel like we have been going and going yet I have no pictures to show it. We have been working on getting our yard in better condition and ready for summer. We have been helping my Aunt get her house ready to rent out and just enjoying family time. With all the stuff we have been doing it was hard to get away for Memorial Day to go decorate our Angels' grave. I am so glad that My Aunt and cousins did it for me. It is beautiful the way the decorated. I at times wish I lived closer to the girls' grave but at other times it is nice to have the distance so i am not always there instead of focusing on the daughter I can hold in my arms every day. I still miss McKenzie and Vanessa very much. I think of them often and picture what they would be like if they were still on Earth. I am glad that I have the gospel to help me know where they are and that I will get to raise them one day.

Baylee is getting to be such a big girl. We have moved her to a Booster seat in the car because she kept getting out of her straps and wrapping the seat belt around her neck. It scared me. I thought she would end up choking herself if I had to slam on my brakes for some reason. She loves being in a Big Girl Car seat. She is going through a stage right now where she only wants to be held. It is hard to get anything done because when I put her down she pulls out her pouty lip and fake tears until my heart breaks and I pick her back up. I hope she gets out of this stage fast!! That is really all that is going on in our life. I will try to be better about taking pics of the events of our life.
